One good soul gave up his seat for Catherine but we did not take the seat as we were alighting at the next stop.
We chatted awhile before we parted ways and head towards UOB Plaza.
We headed for Pasta Fresta (hope I got the name right) Italian food at Boat Quay.
It was donkey years since I last went to Boat Quay. We sat by the river and had a great view of the Ferris Wheel and Asian Civilisaton Museum.
My Penne Marinara
We were very amazed with the table behind us as they ordered approximately 8 pastas, one poultry dish (not sure whatever was that), one pizza and 2 bottles of red wine for a table of 4!!!!!
Imagine our eyes popping when Sally and I saw what they were having. The portion was not very big but what they had really put us off.
Even a pregnant woman like me did not even had as much food as them.
They ended the dinner off with desserts for each of them.
Mark Lee, together with his wife and friends (I supposed) were dinning at the very same restaurant as well.
We decided to head off for drinks and we just walked on to find a suitable place. Wanted to head for Safra Town Club's lounge/pub but went off as it seemed like those canto pub which we did not like. Thus we went over to the other side of the road. Central, nothing much as well.
Finally decided on Swissotel Merchant Court's CrossRoad Bar.
While chatting about our job, Sally and I came to realise that we have a mutual friend.
Such a coincidence.
I caught a glimsp of Alex at the lounge. Since I was not sure whether it was him, I did not walk up to him. Instead called him and confirmed it was him alright.
Anyway was meeting Adeline as well for YTF and Sam was already waiting for me at the hotel so end the night with the 2 girls chatting.
The whole meetup was not very good as I was constantly coughing.
I was coughing so badly that my lower abdominal hurts. I just felt that it was not good for me and it actually affects my sleep at night so much that I will be going to Chris today.
Hopefully he can gives me stronger medication to curb this terrible cough.
