Desaru Trip

The trip was not at all pleasant. It was disastrous for both Sam and me.

Sam was sick and he was having high fever.
I was not well either and can't eat at all.

Think only Adel enjoyed the most.
Luckily we upgrade to pool view room, otherwise it would be damn boring.

Left Changi Ferry Terminal as early as 6am and we parked our vehicle at the Terminal (no parking charge).
Adel enjoyed the ferry ride. Along the ferry ride, there are planes flying above us. Adel keep asking me to take pics of the planes, the ships and whatever is infront of us. Cannot stand her.

Reached hotel close to 8am.
Went to check-in and then we went to the Windows Cafe for international breakfast.
Food in the resort was horrible.
Adel was choosy with her food; Sam and me cant eat much cos both of us are not feeling well.

After breakfast, went back to room and Sam slept.
Adel and me went swimming. She loves being in the pool.
Had a nap till around 1.30pm then we decided to catch a shuttle to their town to take a walk. It was indeed a small town. There was practically nothing and no food. We had wanted to go to town to have our lunch. Ended up bought a packet of Nasi Ayam and some drinks.
Bought some drinks and biscuits from their mini mart before waiting for the shuttle bus to fetch us back to the resort.

Stayed in the room till about 6.30pm before we proceed back to Windows Cafe for dinner.
It's Malay buffet spread.
Cant eat much still and the food not very suitable for Adel as well.
Should have tried the Japanese Teppanyaki.

The night ended with watching tv in the room and Sam snoozing away.



Next morning, had out breakfast at the cafe again. Afterwhich went swimming again.
This time round, Sam joined us.
We packed up and got ready to check out at 12 noon.
Linger at their lobby area while Adel played in the Children's room while we played 2 games of pool.

The shuttle arrived at 1.30pm to fetch us to the terminal.
Adel was fast asleep on the shuttle bus.
She was grouchy when she woke up as we board the ferry.
And grouchy all the way back home.

Once home, I slept till the next morning and having high fever.
Sam was nice enough to help take care of Adel and unpack the bags.
