We went to Wisma Atria taxi stand to pick up Klein before we went over to The Regent where Kim and Andy are having their Solemnization ceremony.
The reception was not able to give us a connecting room. Best they initially wanted to give us a room on level 6 and the other at level 8. Kim and Andy's suite is on Level 6. Hence we requested all to be on the same level and they arranged for us.
Finally check-in and left all out bags in our room and start to dived for the lunch.
After the meal we lazed around and chatted before getting ready for preparations at 1600hrs.
I was ready and dressed Adel, together we went over to Kim and Andy's suite.
Photographer was there and David has already started to make up for Kim.
Winnie arrived shortly with Esther.
We stayed for awhile before going down to the Solemnization venue.
It was beautifully setup and was great.
We had the final check with Joanne, Sales Manager and her team before going back to the suite. Kim was done by then and I went to wake Sam who was still having his nap.
By 1800hrs, we went down and got things started.
Andy forgot his ring and he left it in the room's safe. Took their room key and went to get it for them. Darn it! I got the last digit wrong and could not open the safe. In the end, called reception and got them to assist me. Soon, someone came up and assist me to reset and open the safe.
Got the rings and quickly rushed down.
Other then the ring hiccups, the reception went smoothly and dinner was great. Kim's daddy kept carrying Adel and helped me to babysit her. She told me that her daddy even want to carry her with him for the solmnization. It was her brother who asked him to return Adel to her mummy. Adel was then seated quietly along with Kim's mummy throughout the ceremony.
We all had fun that night and after dinner some of Andy's friends head back to the Suite with us.
Kim and Andy had alot and we got them to bottom up few glasses of wine at the ballroom. Back in their room, they had Volka and wine again.
Stayed till around 2200hrs before we head back to our room.
We had a small Xmas celebrations in my room around 12 midnight. Adel did not sleep yet as she knew that there was a logcake waiting for her. She was still wide awake and waiting for Val Jie Jie! The rest came over and we had gift exchange and wine and logcake.
They left at around 0100hrs and by then Adel was already asleep.
