Turi Beach Resort Day 1

It was an exciting day for all.

I woke up early and do some last minute packing and check that we did not leave out anything while Sam and Adel slept for another 30 minutes.
We went to pick Val up from Redhill MRT and then head next to Bedok Food Centre for breakfast. Klein took a train down from Yio Chu Kang to meet us while Kim decided that Andy and her will take a cab straight to the Ferry Terminal.
Knowing that she will be late, we purposely told her to be there at 0945hrs while we reached at 1000hrs.

Sam went to park the vehicle while we went to proceed to check-in.
The ferry was delayed and we waited for boarding.
The journey took about 35minutes and soon we reached Nongsapura Ferry Terminal.

We head to clear immigration and went next to take the shuttle to the Resort.
It took us 5 minutes to reach.

Went to check-in and the receptionist arranged for a shuttle to bring us to the door step of our resorts. We fell in love immediately with the resort and the view from the private balcony.
Unload our bags and then we head back to the reception to arrange for transport out for shopping and food at Batam Centre.

The mall was not that huge but was just besides the International Ferry Terminal.
We decided on A&W for our lunch. Val and I were equally exciting since it was ages we last seen the Mascot and the signature order they have - Root Beer Float, Ice Cream Waffle and Curly Fries. So good to be sitting together, enjoying a wonderful meal and reminiscing the past.
Adel loved the Mascot as well.

We shopped for awhile and bought few pieces of clothes each. While Kim and Val are paying for some drinks at the Hypermarket, I went to get some J Co donuts.

We head next to the Golden Prawn Kelong Restaurant to have seafood!
Hee we only paid less than SGD100 for 2 veggies, hotplate beancurd, lemon chicken, chili crab, Golen Prawn Mayo, BBQ Sotong, egg plus drinks. The coconut drinks were disappointing as those were "old coconuts".
Adel and Sam went on to explore the kelong while we finished off the food.

Finally head straight back to the resort and the sky turned dark already at 1900hrs (local time). We paid IDR400,000 for each car (50,000 more but it's ok since we felt that the drivers deserve it).

Had a warm shower and then all gathered in our room again.

It was so cooling to chill out with the sea breeze blowing.
Adel presented Kim with her birthday present from us. LOL glad that Kim loved it.

The Island Bar was having a live band and we can hear it from our rooms. However, it really disrupts our rest as it ended at 2300hrs (local time).

Have a good night rest and we are going to laze around in the resort, relaxing.
