My poor son got an infected right eye since yesterday afternoon.
It all started with mucus discharge that was so fequent, Sam and I decided to bring him to KKH Children Emergency.
We left the house about 11.30pm and came home at 3.30am!
Imagine the ordeal of waiting at A&E with a newborn that is barely 2 weeks old!
The senior consultant did an eye swap test on Kennzo and use something to pry open his eyes to check. His right eye simply cannot be opened due to the heavy mucus discharge and his eye was a little swollen. It was suspected that it was due to bacteria infection.
My heart was crying already when I saw what they did. It must have been so uncomfortable for little Kennzo. I just cannot help it and cried there and then. Luckily Sam was there with me.
We were scheduled for an appointment to see the eye specialist on Monday morning. Hopefully Kennzo is declared clear of all the misery soon.
Why must my son be premature and has to go through all this ordeal?

I rather I am the one suffering.
Poor Kennzo still has some mild jaundice and we sun bathe him.
Hopefully my brave son will be alright and no more sickness.
